Installation is simple and it is easily retrofitted to existing systems
Biosol is simply injected into the sewer, generally at a wet well using a simple low maintenance peristaltic pump. Large storage vessels and large tanker access are not required at most locations. Only relatively small amounts of Biosol are required to achieve the desired results.
Biosol products are regarded as non-hazardous and no special engineering controls are required. No bunding is required.
All that is required is a product storage area (generally sufficient for 1 month product) out of direct sunlight; electrical power (240 or 120 volt, 5 or 10 amp) and access for a 6mm or 9mm internal diameter tube into the wet well.
A half container can act as a suitable Biosol storage area
when no alternative is available. Electrical power is run
from the control cabinet to the container. A Biosol
product-dosing line can then be run from the storage shed
to the wet well. Any location out of direct sunlight is a
suitable Biosol storage area, provided the ambient
temperature does not exceed 50 Celsius for extended periods

Simple peristaltic dosing pumps are generally used. Either
high-pressure, if feed is required to the pressure main or
low-pressure if the feed is to the wet well.
At
certain locations one or two 25 litre drums are sufficient
for a months supply of product. The cabinet below holds 2 x
25 litre drums and a simple peristaltic pump.
